Drive from Dirang to Sangti Valley by mid-day. Check into a traditional Monpa wooden homestay in Chhushur hamlet. Take an afternoon walk through pine forests and along the crystalline Sangti Chu river. In the evening, gather around the family woodfire hearth (thap) for hot Thukpa, Zan, and warm Ara while listening to elders recount crane folklore.

Sunrise Crane Foraging & Sheep Breeding Farm
Wake up at dawn to witness the black-necked cranes taking flight against the misty mountain backdrop. After a hearty breakfast of homemade bread and butter tea, hike up to the Regional Sheep Breeding Farm for sweeping panoramic views across the valley floor. Depart towards Dirang, Mandala Top, or Tawang.
