Depart Kohima in the morning for the scenic 2-hour drive along the Viswema–Kidima–Zuketsa highland road to Khezhakeno. Check into your village homestay and enjoy a home-cooked lunch featuring Galho and seasonal greens. In the afternoon, join a guided 3-hour heritage walking tour: visit the sacred charred Tso Tawo spirit stone, the Kozapelo ancestral compound, the carved Kharu village gate, and the Tribal Heritage Museum. Spend the evening gathered around the host family's woodfire hearth enjoying authentic Khezha cuisine and oral folk stories from village elders.

Chida Lake Vista, Kapamüdzü Ridge & Return via Pfütsero
Wake early to watch golden morning light illuminate the misty terraced valleys. Drive 4 km to Chida Post and take a peaceful nature walk around Chida Lake (Loho Lake) along the Nagaland-Manipur border ridge. In the late morning, transfer 23 km north to Pfütsero town to visit Glory Peak viewpoint and local apple orchards. Savor lunch in Pfütsero before returning along NH-29 to Kohima or Dimapur.
